SYRIA

publishing and advertising services, we continue to aggressively pursue new
technologies to provide our customers with creative new added-value
communication solutions.
Due to our rapid growth, our company is recruiting the following top management
members for our key operation in Syria.
1- General Manager: (Ref#: G/S123)
The GM is the top country executive running the entire operation, made up of 5
branches. The successful candidate will preferably be educated to post-graduate
level with over 10 years of progressive experience leading a large
multi-disciplinary team. Significant exposure to sales and marketing, operations
and distribution, and logistics and administration, is essential. Candidates
with proven success records in media sales and/or FMCG businesses will be
exceptionally qualified to match the required profile.
2- Country Sales Manager: (Ref#: S/S456)
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will have at least 7
years of progressive experience as a sales supervisor/manager, including 3 years
at the national level. Having undergone significant formal training in sales
management techniques and possessing superior interpersonal skills, this person
will have the ability to positively influence direct reports and key customers,
allowing him to achieve or exceed sales targets.
3- Country Human Resources Manager: (Ref#: H/S789)
Also reporting to the General Manager, this key member of the country’s top
management team will have a major role to play in developing the company’s most
important assets: our human resources. Coming from a diversified career in
general HR (5 years or more) with increasing responsibilities, and preferably
having acquired a professional certification in the field along the way, the HR
Manager will lead the HR teams in all 5 branches in developing, implementing,
and monitoring HR Best Practices, in line with corporate HR strategy.
The vacancies described above are located in Damascus. Priority will be given to
Syrian citizens but suitable candidates from other nationalities will also be
considered. Applicants for all 3 positions should be educated to at least
university-degree level, and fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent verbal
and written communication skills. Fully IT-literate, they should be proficient
users of MS Office software packages.
